PHM Group strengthens its presence in Berlin and eastern parts of Germany
PHM Deutschland GmbH has acquired MÜTRA Objektmanagement GmbH based in Berlin. This acquisition fits in perfectly with PHM Group's growth strategy.
With nearly 3.8 million inhabitants, Berlin is the largest city in Germany and is characterized by an extremely high concentration of customers. MÜTRA Objektmanagement GmbH, founded by Lutz Meichsner in 1992, is the second PHM partner based in the German capital area. The company has established itself as a holistic high-quality provider for facility maintenance, cleaning and outdoor maintenance. With three additional sites in Frankfurt (Oder), Angermünde and Leipzig MÜTRA also takes care of customers in eastern regions of Germany, where the market offers great growth opportunities. The customer base mainly includes housing companies, kindergartens and other municipal as well as public customers and property management companies.
“I always had the idea of selling my company before I retire, but I could never have imagined that it would grow to 170 employees and four sites,“ says Lutz Meichsner who will stay as the Managing Director of MÜTRA for a while. “Joining PHM Group is the perfect solution for me and my colleagues, because my successor as Managing Director is already part of the team and will continuously run the company.
