We look after people and their surroundings
We strive to operate in a sustainable manner in our daily activities. Our employees in different countries ensure that our customers' premises are safe and comfortable. The outcome of our work is satisfied customers.
Sustainability management at PHM Group
The cornerstones of sustainability are based on shared operating practices and guidelines. We have promoted the following topics in our sustainability strategy, focusing particularly on three areas: climate, people and responsible business.
Our sustainability strategy is based on PHM Group’s business strategy, double materiality assessment, and a climate transition plan, which is based on the Group’s carbon accounting.
We take climate impacts into account in our daily operations
We operate locally, but we have the resources of a large Group. We comply with environmental legislation and official regulations in all circumstances and require the same from our partners.
We have identified the climate impacts of our business and defined a climate transition plan until 2030.
We are focusing on the green transition, particularly in Scope 1–2 emissions. We are gradually electrifying our vehicle fleet and the hand-held tools used in our customer premises, which will have a significant impact on our direct emissions and provide our customers with a healthier and quieter living and working environment. We strive to purchase only fossil-free electricity for our properties.
In addition, we will continue to centralise our procurement in all countries where we operate. Reliable partnerships with key suppliers improve visibility in the supply chain and ensure higher quality data on the climate impact of our procurement.
A safe workplace that offers opportunities for development
For us, social responsibility means first and foremost responsibility for our employees. We are a significant employer, and as a growing service company, we will employ even more people in the future. Satisfied and committed employees also provide the best service to customers.
We offer our employees a workplace where we take care of their safety and well-being, promote the development of the skills of our diverse staff, and ensure that human rights are respected.
Our employees are at the heart of our operations, and safety is our top priority. Through our daily property maintenance and cleaning services, we also strive to increase the safety of our customers in their homes and workplaces, as well as in the outdoor areas of their properties.
We are a multicultural workplace that offers jobs and livelihoods to people regardless of their background or previous experience. We develop the leadership skills of our supervisors and train our staff.
Continuous development of internal processes
We always act honestly and fairly. In all our activities, we comply with legislation, official regulations, and our own and our customers’ ethical guidelines. The PHM Group’s Code of Conduct defines the guidelines that apply to all our companies and employees.
We continuously develop our internal processes to provide stability and added value to our owners, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Our business is based on strong growth, both in our existing and new markets through acquisitions and organic growth. Growth requires steady management and continuous development of risk control mechanisms, policies, data capabilities, reporting, and the integration of new companies. We will further develop our due diligence processes to ensure ethical business practices and respect for human rights and the environment.
